When working towards a goal and a difficult situation arises, there are usually three choices: You stop, realize you don't want to deal with it, and go back to the same pattern you were in. You stand to the side and just hope that something occurs, so you don't need to put in much effort. Do you tend to rush things trying to make sure they happen according to how you want them to be or do you set goals and take necessary steps to make sure you get it done correctly, the first time around? I understand that the future is unpredictable but we can plan ahead to have a sense of accomplishment. I used to rush through everything in my life. Have you ever gotten so absorbed in a negative situation that you are totally blind to see any positive aspects? It can be difficult to see the positive in a negative situation. Majority of the time, the positive is there, just not seen with clarity due to where your mind is at.  Not all negative situations are 100% negative.
