Have You Sat With Your Dark Side?

Have you ever sat with yourself? Like fully embraced with being alone. Allowing yourself to engage with your fears, insecurities, and inner darkness that surface?

Many of us tend to seek outside distractions to avoid dealing with our inner demons. When you sit with yourself, the emotions and thoughts you may have been avoiding will surface. However, this is what we need to happen in order to become aware of what needs to be healed, so that we may evolve within.

What you may not have been aware of is that by not dealing with these fears, insecurities, etc, may lead to self-sabotaging behaviors in your relationships. Learning to fully embrace your darkness and giving yourself space to love every bit of it, and the process of healing through it, will allow you to be able to give love outside of yourself without these insecurities getting in the way. 

Daily Reflection - Have I sat alone with myself enough to become aware of my fears and insecurities? Have I healed and evolved through them? Or have I allowed my fears and insecurities to sabotage my relationships, with others?
