I hear people say "This is life"
What exactly do they mean by that? Is there a right or wrong way to live it?
Who said that we were to come to live as robots. Wake up. Get yourself and kids ready. Take kids to school/daycare. Go to work. Pick kids up. Prepare dinner. Chores. Get ready for bed. And the cycle continues.
I hear people say "I need a vacation"
What does that mean? What are you trying to get away from? "Time away. Peace and quiet". So what does that mean for those who are unable to "vacation"?
"I have to work to put food on the table. A roof over our heads. Clothes on our backs." I get that. But how about this.
You choose to put more hours in. You choose to work harder and strain yourself mentally which in turn affects you physically, and for what, because you just want more. I don't believe we have to do anything. I mean yes. We need to work to make money to survive. But I also believe we have gone too far with wanting more then we need. When you want more. You work more. Then you complain more. Then you need a vacation to get away from the stress to come back and do it all over again.
So where are the words "I'm grateful for...." I hardly hear this nowadays. "I'm so blessed for...." So I observe. The ones that don't continue to say "I have to" "I need a vacation" are the ones I see enjoying life. If the opportunity to get away comes, they are grateful. They enjoy the time away but come back still joyful to wake up another day to go to work.
My point, vocabulary. Choose your words wisely. Pay attention. I was one of these people. "I have to. Omg I have to get up for work." Miserable. I see it around me a lot. But now. To be quite honest, I'm grateful. I don't need much. Nor do I want more. If it happens. I'm blessed. If not, I'm still blessed. It's about time people need to see that we don't "have" to do anything to get more. Be grateful and blessed for what you have. Change your vibration. Watch your words. And then see how much more abundant you feel. Watch how things just happen. Surrender to the flow of life.
This is life. Awareness. Lessons. Gratitude. Feeling blessed. Mindfulness. The simple things.
